This page contains a few of my favourite photos, either taken by me or copied with the owner's permission (and acknowledged where relevant).  I don't claim to be a great photographer, so these pics may not appeal to those of you with greater skill than mine - but I don't care!  They give me enjoyment, which is all that matters at the end of the day.

First up - Lower Slaughter (yes, really!), in the Cotswolds.  This was taken on a hot Summer's day in 2005.

Danger ahead!  A display of aggression from a Rhea at Birdland, Bourton-on-the-Water in the Cotswolds, again taken in 2005.  Good job there was a fence between us!

Austria 2004 - we were lucky to have almost the perfect day for our trip to Grossglockner.  This shot was taken at the bottom of the long ascent to the top of the mountain, just before the toll booths.

Another beautiful day, this time in Scotland in 2005.  This is Fort Augustus in the Highlands, towards the lower end of the series of 7 locks in the village.  Loch Ness is in the background.

Aagin, Fort Augustus, Scotland, 2005.  This is another shot at one of the locks, all the more dramatic by the fact that it looks like I'm actually in the water (which I'm not)!

Switzerland, 2006.  This atmospheric shot was taken quite early in the morning at Interlaken, at the start of a boat trip on Lake Brienz.  The mist was perhaps a warning of the very hot day to come, which peaked at 34o C.

My next car!  A Ferrari F430, taken with kind permission of the Meridien Modena Ferrari dealership at Lyndhurst in the New Forest.  Sadly, I don't have £139,000 to spare at the moment...

Sunset over Windermere, 2007.  Surprisingly, this shot is pretty sharp, considering I was shivering to death - it was sooooo cold!  Note to self:  It doesn't matter how warm it is on-shore - don't take a 'Sunset Cruise' if you've only got a t-shirt on!
